Breckenridge, Colorado - December 1, 1981  One of the biggest highlights in my music career was to perform for a wedding in Colorado.  I was 25 years old and played bass in one of the best bands in Miami at the time, a group called “The New World”.  The client flew us all the way to Denver to perform for this very elegant engagement.  Half of the musicians went back home the next day.  However, I stayed with the rest of the band for an entire week there and went skiing in Breckenridge.  To the left (my right) is my buddy Nick, who played drums in the band.  We had lots of fun up in the mountains.  However, driving in the snow took some getting used to, for me at least.  One day, I was driving a Suburban truck and came to a stop sign.  I hit the brakes but nothing happened!  I ended up hitting the school bus in front of me, although very lightly.  Fortunately, there was no damage, and we continued on.
