Family Reunion in Bulgaria

Sofia, Bulgaria - December 24, 2007 (7:18pm)  I am finally reunited with my wonderful family in Bulgaria, the Land of Roses.  This reunion was way overdue as I had not seen them in more than 11 years.  And the last time I spent Christmas in Bulgaria was when I was only 5 years old.  From left to right:  Cheny (my aunt), George (that’s me), Marena (my cousin),  Valentin (my third cousin) and Tedi (my second cousin).  My hair got a bit messed up after my long voyage from Miami to Sofia (via Paris) on Air France.  The weather is cold (it was 19 degrees Fahrenheit when I arrived) but the people are warm, especially my family here.
