About Website

At the age of 12, when I first moved to Miami, I started collecting comic books.  My favorite ones were the DC Comics (the ones with Superman, Superboy, Supergirl, Batman and Robin, Green Lantern, The Flash, Aquaman and the Justice League of America).  Back then, I liked art a lot:  I would draw pictures of superheroes and daydreamed about becoming one and my teachers would often get angry at me for not paying attention!

When I was a kid, I thought I would grow up to become an artist, or a painter, or even a cartoonist.  At one time, I even wanted to become a race car driver.  Later on, I became interested in music, and gradually lost interest in art, or at least in drawing pictures.  By the time I became an adult, I ended up selling my large collection of comics books.  After all, comics are for kids.

A few years ago, I went to a Warner Bros. store and saw these neat Superman T-shirts.  It reminded me of my childhood and the times when I collected comic books.  I bought three of them and wore them from time to time.  There was something magic about these shirts: Every time I wore one, people would stop and say: “Wow, look, it’s Superman!

Now, I can live the fantasy I had as a kid! Actually, these shirts have brought me lots of luck and have given me magical powers I never thought I ever had before.  Things have never been better since I started wearing the “Super” logo, which, by the way, stands for success.  Of course, I only wear it once in a while and I try not to show off too often.  The rest of the time, I keep a low profile, working as a mild-mannered webmaster and computer programmer for a great metropolitan law firm in Miami.

The photographs in this website are grouped by category.  Most pictures belong to several categories.  The main categories are listed on the left side of the screen.  To view a particular category, simply click on the appropriate hyperlink.  To view the best pictures, simply click on the Best Pictures link, or on the Super logo.  To view all the photographs, simply click on the All Pictures hyperlink.  Please note that the drop-down menu that’s just above the hit counter contains more categories than the frame on the left hand side of the screen.

The first photograph displayed when visiting this site is selected at random from all the photographs in the Best Pictures category. That means you will probably be greeted by a different picture every time you visit my web site! I did that on purpose to make it more interesting for everyone.  When you select a new category, the first photograph displayed is also selected at random.  Most categories contain several photographs but only one picture is displayed at one time.  You can navigate through the photographs as if they were a slide show, by clicking on the FIRST, PREVIOUS, NEXT, and LAST hyperlinks.  All pictures are sorted by date with the oldest ones first and newest ones last.

This web site combines mostly fact and a little bit of fantasy from time to time.  One should easily be able to tell the difference between the two.  However, if you are not sure and if you see any gray-colored text, just don’t take it too seriously.  After all, life is too short to be serious.  Have fun and have a super day!
